Not sure what to do with your kids this March Break? We’ve got you covered. The AGO has an incredible line-up of interactive and imaginative activities from March 9 to 17. From collage art to paper food-making and recipe sharing, kids are taking over the AGO every day from 10:30 am to 4 pm.

A highlight is Secret Ingredient, an interactive artmaking event in Walker Court from Winnipeg-based art duo and AGO Artists in Residence Natalie Ferguson and Toby Gillies. The artists are inviting kids and families to create paper versions of their favourite foods, share recipes and display their delicious creations on a huge banquet table.

And while you’re here, take a trip through France with Impressionism in the Age of Industry: Monet, Pissarro and more and stop by the AGO train station in the Weston Family Learning Centre (WFLC) and take a family-friendly tours of the museum.

Interested in a little friendly competition? Visit Galleria Italia, where you can mini-putt down our handmade race track. And in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School, you can find more creative fun with the paper plane party that has a launch pad ready for take-off from the Gallery School balcony. There’s also plenty of colouring and collage making activities taking place in both the Dr. Mariano Elia Hands-On Centre and WLFC Commons.

With so much going on, you won’t want to miss out on all the March Break fun at the AGO from March 9–17. For more information or to save $10 when you purchase family passes in advance, visit our website.
