    Well, there should have been 83 balls, (statistically the lifespan of a male in this society) and the last ball should have fallen off the end and broken.

    and I love the metaphor about our human ‘learning curve’ and the overall shape and arc of his sculpture.

    luckily, the wood is shaped into round balls, and we don’t have to worry about ‘block heads’

    at least not with this piece!
